I have lived my entire life in the Florida Keys. When my parents moved here they were the eighth to build on
Lower Matecumbe Key. As children my brothers and I had the entire island to explore and beach comb all to ourselves. The few neighbors we had were not very near us. It was a time when you found glass floats, notes in bottles, hatch covers from passing ships and shells that washed ashore. On Sundays jeeps would come every so often and drive the beach from one end of the island to the other. The blimps from the Navy base in Key West used to come by several times a week. My parents Irving and Jeane Eyster are local historians and have written several books including Islamorada and More, giving the entire history of Islamorada.

Sailfish Action
I am an avid angler winning many tournaments and am a holder of five I.G.F.A. Salt Water World Records. My daughter Cinnamon entered into fishing due to our Capt. Dave Purdo who has fished us in almost every local tournament for over 18 years. She too has won several tournaments including the JR. Sailfish Tournament. She also won Junior Master Angler for the South Florida Met Tournament two years in a row. Capt. Dave has seen to it that we have caught most salt water species in the area and many freah water species in the Great Lakes. David has taken me to other countries to reach my goal to catch each of the seven billfish. I now have five.

I owned and operated a Men's and Women's retail clothing store, Cinnamon's(named after my daughter) for 10 years in the Tavernier Town Shopping Center.
I decided to join the Real Estate world through much coaching of my friends who insisted that with my local knowledge and vast number of contacts, I should do this. I have enjoyed Real Estate since I started and reached Master Diamond level within the second year. I find great pleasure in helping others find there dreams here so they can enjoy the experiences that I have had.
